The modular layout let me mix the wool and silk panels into a shape that actually fits my weird living room, and the worsted wool feels substantial underfoot. Assembly took maybe ten minutes, which is way easier than wrestling a traditional rug into place.

The pure Vietnamese silk sections catch the light completely differently than the wool ones, which makes the whole rug feel alive underfoot. I've rearranged the modules three times already and each configuration looks like a brand new piece.
