The way these porcelain shades float on the brass frame is genuinely striking—they feel weightless until you touch them. The incised fluting gives off a soft, rippled glow that makes the whole room feel warmer at night.
The incised fluting catches the light in a way that makes the whole piece feel alive, and the brass stem is machined perfectly smooth. I’ve had it up for a week and keep catching myself staring at how the glow shifts through those tiny grooves.
The way the porcelain seems to float against the brass structure is even more striking in person—the light catches the incised fluting and throws these delicate shadows across the wall. It’s heavier than I expected, but that just makes it feel solid and well-made.
